Swiss Yodeling Choir

The Schweizer Jodlerfreunde, is a yodel choir that started out as a mens choir singing at the Swiss National Day celebration. After a young yodeler couple joined, we decided in 1996 to form a yodel choir. Our singers are mostly farmers and some drive more than one hour to the practices every Wednesday.

Our annual events are the Jodler- Stubete, and the traditional Christmas Fondue Plausch. We also entertain at birthday parties, weddings, charity events, agricultural exhibitions and at the Swiss senior citizen gatherings. We currently have 15 members.

Arnold Egli is our director and he farms with his family in Blyth, Ontario.
