Accommodations in the Chatham-Kent Area

Chatham-Kent’s eclectic collection of attractions draws a diverse population of travelers with varying styles and budgets. Accommodations here meet every taste.

Hotels & Motels

Guests may choose to spend the night in one of Ontario’s most uniquely themed boutique hotels located in the heart of Chatham-Kent’s largest urban centre. Or they may enjoy the comfort of newly renovated guest rooms at of one of many national hotel chains found in several Chatham-Kent communities.

Please click here for a listing of hotels and motels.

Campgrounds & Cabins

In early Fall 2017, we will be posting information about booking a space at the IPM 2018 RV Park. Please check back!

In the thick of Carolinian forest or along scenic Great Lakes shoreline, camping in Chatham-Kent is exceptional. Campers can choose the natural settings of two provincial parks or one of many recreation-packed family resorts for their summer camping experience.

Please click here for a listing of campgrounds and cabins.

Bed & Breakfasts

Guests are welcomed into the homes of B & B proprietors across Chatham-Kent and treated to personalized service with a ‘home-away-from home’ feel. Many bed and breakfast hosts welcome their guests with tea or coffee and homemade cookies, a tour of their accommodation, and answer any questions they may have. Often the visitors’ first connection to the area, hosts can enhance their experience with tips on where to eat, what to do, and sites to visit while in town. Amenities often include televisions in guest rooms, private bath, and wireless Internet service. Gourmet breakfast is served in the morning and traditionally features fresh fruit, homemade breads and pastries, waffles or pancakes.

The Board of Directors of the 2018 International Plowing Match and Rural Expo (IPM 2018) are happy to report strong initial sales of the souvenir cookbook. Many residents of Chatham-Kent took the opportunity to give it as Christmas presents.

The next phases of preparing for the Match are well underway. There will soon be a complete assortment of souvenirs available through-out Chatham-Kent.

The IPM 2018 Board would like to thank the cookbook sponsor, North Kent Mutual Insurance Company.
