IPM 2014 Old-Time Gospel Worship Service

Join us for an Old-Time Gospel Worship Service taking place on Sunday, September 14th, at 3:00pm, at the Essa Agriplex.

This Celebration-Filled Service will feature the musical gifts of local Musicians, including Elmvale-area Musician (and Farmer!) Luke Langman.

Also included in the service, will be Bush Pilot, Brian Steed. Brian will share his experience of God's protection and provision, after losing his arm, while piloting a pontoon plane in Northern Ontario.

An inspiring Gospel message will be featured by Chris Atkinson, a local pastor.

Everyone is invited to join for a time of Refreshments and Fellowship, following the service!

Donations to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank will be accepted at this event

Brian Steed

After obtaining theological training and a pilot’s license, Brian spent seven years flying as a bush pilot.  During this time, he shared the message of Good News in dozens of remote villages in the  Hudson Bay area.  One fateful day, the propeller of his float plane slashed off his right arm, throwing him into the icy water of the lake.  Alone and twenty miles from any human help, Brian had an unusual experience with God; enabling him to regain the plane and fly ‘out’ for medical help.  Brian will be with us to share, a story of adventure, pain and victory.

Chris Atkinson

Pastor Chris Atkinson comes from a farming background.  He raised sheep for 20 years and was very active in the agricultural community, before becoming a pastor; Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts from Wilfred Laurier University and Masters of Divinity form Tyndale Seminary.  He currently is a pastor at Pinewoods Chapel in Angus; is married to Rowan and has four children.  When he has a chance, he still likes to take the old ‘Minneapolis’ out for a spin!
