Princess of the Furrow Competition

The Princess of the Furrow Competition will be a feature at IPM 2018.

Each local Branch Association of the Ontario Plowmen's Association may send a Princess to represent their Association at IPM 2018 in Pain Court, Chatham-Kent.

Branch Plowmen's Associations may enter their Princess by submitting the application form posted here posted here.

The purpose of the Princess of the Furrow Competition is to encourage girls, 12-17 years old, to take an interest in agriculture & Plowing Matches and perhaps eventually participate in the Queen of the Furrow competition. 

The contestants will give a 1-2 minute speech on any topic related to agriculture, as well as experience an interview with a panel of three judges. Many competitors find the process helpful as it provides confidence needed for job interviews in the future. The contestants do not have to plow and only the top 5 give an impromptu speech.
