Verner, Municipality of West Nipissing – Excitement is building in West Nipissing and visitors as well as locals were eager to see a detailed program schedule of the International Plowing Match and Rural Exposition (IPM) that will taking place September 17-21 in Verner.

Keep in mind that many things are happening simultaneously and that you absolutely need to visit the full spectrum of exhibitors and vendors in Tented City in addition to attending competitions, presentations and shows. From pumpkin chucking competitions, to fashion shows, horse drawn plowing competitions and music extravaganza, IPM 2019 is sure to dazzle people of all ages, including the 8,000 or so school students that will be visiting the site during this five-day celebration. We would like to take the opportunity to remind the media that a tour of the site and a full briefing will be happening on September 6, 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the VIP Tent on the IPM site located off Highway 64S as you exit Verner going towards Lavigne.
Hosting IPM 2019 is a mammoth undertaking for the people of West Nipissing. But fever is in the air, volunteers are primed, home and business owners have adorned their dwellings with funky scarecrows and welcome signs. We are eager to greet visitors with: Welcome! Bonjour! Aaniin! to IPM 2019 being hosted by West Nipissing!
